Ye Olde Bell Hotel & Restaurant at Barnby Moor, near Retford, are holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 25th September from 11:00am to support this great charity. Robyn, from the bar team, together with her able assistant, ‘Bell Bear’ has organised a wide selection of gift stalls for your early Christmas shopping, delicious cakes and amazing coffee from the hotel’s new partnership with local company, Stewarts of Trent Bridge Nottingham.
Stewart Falconer aspired to becoming a coffee roaster in the early 1980s and learned the art in Dublin at renowned roasters, Bewleys. At the time he had a coffee bar in central Nottingham using the same Probat coffee roaster used in the process today at their roastery near Trent Bridge, Nottingham, some 30 years later. Beans are all top quality Arabica with a range to suit all palates, roasted in small batches to order to ensure coffee retains a fresh, consistent taste. Coffee customers today certainly like to know the provenance of their coffee and Ye Olde Bell Hotel, who always endeavour to support local suppliers, are proud to now be able to ‘shout locally sourced and roasted’ about their coffee too!
The hotel now serves this delicious coffee throughout the hotel, so whether you are popping in for a quick Espresso by a real log fire or attending a large wedding reception or ball, you’ll be served Stewart’s freshly ground coffee beans.
Taste it and also buy ‘a bag of beans’ at the Macmillan Coffee Morning – Thursday 25 September – 11:00am.
