MEET THE NEIGHBOURS: The Neighbours group met as scheduled on Wednesday 10th May at the Gate Inn with Joan Reiter and her team in fine form. Attendances were down a bit on this occasion due to illness, and prior appointments.   Those in attendance were treated to a fine lunch and the company of their peers. After the lunch and sweet the official notices were given out during the tea/coffee break. The quiz on this occasion proved a bit difficult to start with but the person who set the quiz was more than surprised with the number of brain boxes who live in the area and completed the questions with full marks on at least one sheet. The monthly raffle then took place accompanied by the usual banter, with a good number of prizes on offer. Patrons appeared to go home well fed and happy. More neighbours next month!
