Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) Consultation
Nottinghamshire County Council has prepared a review of its Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). The SCI sets out how the County Council will consult and involve communities in the carrying out of its planning functions. A review of the SCI is now taking place in the light of changes to legislation and planning guidance, progress on the Minerals and Waste Development Plan Documents, County Council restructuring and an increased emphasis on cost effectiveness.
The County Council is seeking comments on the Draft Review of the SCI. Comments on the Draft review of the SCI can be made in writing to Nottinghamshire County Council, Planning Policy, 1st Floor, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7QP or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The closing date for receiving representations is 12pm (midnight) on 18th December 2017.
Comments on the draft review can be submitted in two ways:
- By email to email@example.com
- By letter to Nottinghamshire County Council, Planning Policy, 1st Floor, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7QP
The County Council will consider the comments received and will amend the document as appropriate. The final draft will then be taken to County Council Members for approval and adoption. Once adopted this version will replace the existing SCI.
