ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: On Sunday, 11th November, the annual “Remembrance Service” will take place at the local church. The service starts at the later time of 10:15am and everyone is welcome.

ROAD CLOSURE: Nottingham County Council have issued the following notices.
Vehicles will be prohibited from the following length of road at Sutton cum Lound and Sutton in the district of Bassetlaw:
(a) Town Street, Sutton cum Lound (for its whole length)
(b) Lound Low Road Sutton cum Lound (for its whole length)
(c) Church Way Sutton cum Lound (for its whole length)
(d) Lound Low Road Lound (for its whole length)
(e) Town Street Lound from its junction with Lound Low Road, Lound to its junction with Daneshill Road Lound.
The prohibition respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
- From 07:30hrs on Monday 13th November 2017 to 17:30hrs on Wednesday 25th November 2017 inclusive. The alternative routes available will be via: Daneshill Road Lound, Mattersey Road Lound, Mattersey Road Sutton cum Lound and vice versa.
The prohibition is required to enable via East Midlands Ltd to carry out patching works.
SUTTON GARDENING CLUB: When the club mett on Tuesday 7th November in Sutton Village Hall, Neill Timm who owns a Fern Nursery, addressed the gathering on the subject “A World of Ferns”.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS: The next meeting of the group will be on Wednesday 8th November at the Gate Inn at the usual time of 1:00pm when neighbours will join together for a communal meal. Please inform organiser Joan Reiter if you will be attending on the day.
PARISH COUNCIL: Sutton Parish Council held their monthly meeting on Wednesday 8th November in the Village Hall at the usual starting time of 7:00pm. A report will follow.
KEEP FIT CLASSES: Keep fit classes continue in the Village Hall every Saturday morning between 9:00am and 9:45am. Come along and join them, you may lose a few pounds.
