ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: At the local church on Sunday 7th January 2018, “Morning Prayer” will take place.

The service starts at 9:30am and everyone is welcome.

 

 

TABLE TOP AND CAR BOOT SALE: The next car boot and table-top sale will take place on Sunday 7th January at the Village Hall, from 10:00am until 1:00pm (sellers from 9:00am).

Free public admission and parking, sellers £5.00 per pitch. Refreshments available on the day and a tombola stall will operate. Well worth a look – bring the family.

VINTAGE TEAS: A new year and a new date for your diaries, make a note that Vintage Teas will be taking place at the Village Hall on Saturday 13th January 2018. Local residents, Judi Walters and Nicky Sorsby, are continuing with this very popular event, which attracted 53 villagers and friends at the last session in December.

The event is held from 1:30pm to 4:30pm and further dates will be notified. A full vintage afternoon tea should be ordered in advance by calling Judi on 07970 052 055, or otherwise just call in for tea and cakes and conversation, whilst catching up on all the latest and news and views from in and around the area.

BURNS SUPPER: An independent group from outside the village have decided to organise a Burns Supper in 2018. The event will be held on Friday 26th January 2018 in the Village Hall.

Doors open 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start. A few tickets for sale in the village at £29.95 per person.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH ASSOCIATION: Residents requiring help or advice can source this through the usual channels.

SUTTON AND BARNBY MOOR WI: Sutton and Barnby Moor W.I. meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Sutton Village Hall at 7:15pm. Members old and new always welcome.
