ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: On Sunday 1st April, being Easter Sunday, the appropriate service will take place at the local church.

The service starts at 9:30am and everyone is welcome.

NOW YOU SEE IT – NOW YOU DON’T: How many locals have noticed that the telephone box which stood on the green at the junction of Station Road and Town Street for many, many, years has been removed over the last two weeks. With mobiles ‘phones and other hi-tech devices at an all-time high the local kiosk got very little use and had apparently reached its sell-by date. Where will villagers shelter now as they wait to post letters in the box that is non-operational at present?

YOUTH CLUB: A Youth Club now operates in the village from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. every Tuesday night (except 1st Tuesday in month) and is held in the Village Hall. New members always welcome.
