ST. BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: “Songs of praise” will be the service at the local church on Sunday 25th March. The service commences at 9:30am and everyone welcome.
POSTAL SERVICES: The Post Office in the Village Hall will be available as usual on two occasions each week. On Mondays: 9:30am – 1:30pm and on Thursdays 9:00am – 1:00pm. The local office can supply residents with: Pensions, Foreign Currency, Travel Insurance, Car Insurance, Investments and Savings.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH: The local association will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday 27th March at the usual time of 2:30pm. The venue on this occasion will be 55 Station Road, in the village.
CAN YOU HELP?: Raise money for your charity by collecting empty ink cartridges.
Please collect as many ink cartridges as possible from neighbours, co-workers and family.
Bring the cartridges to your charity and place them in the recycling box which by kind permission of Mrs Pick will be sited in the village store, or the Village Hall. Alternatively ring the Village Hall number if collection is required: 07092 985 831.
The first lot of cartridges have been dispatched and a payment should be forthcoming shortly.
CHURCH CONCERT: The concert held in church on Friday night, 16th March, was a well attended event. Villagers and friends were entertained for the evening by the Doncaster Salvation Army Songsters and Singers and Lakeside Brass.
The group presented a festival of Christian music, with a few words of prayer, bible readings and thought, conducted by Captain Stuart Crane. The group entertained throughout the evening much to the delight of those present, from a large repertoire of popular hymns and and well known tunes including a clarinet solo. At the end of the performance the blessing was given by the Reverend Sue Caddy. Refreshments were then served and a retirement collection was taken.
PLAY FACILITIES: Work has been completed on the installation of various pieces of play equipment based behind the Village Hall. A final Health and Safety audit is required before the play area can be officially declared open.

SUTTON APRIL CLUB: The club will meet on Friday 23rd March in the Village Hall at the usual time of 2:00pm.
