Search for missing Worksop man

Police are appealing for assistance from the public to locate a man missing from his home in Worksop.
Steven Robert Thomas, 53, was reported missing from his home in the Kilton area of the town on Monday (27 August).
There are concerns about Mr Thomas’s welfare and his state of mind following two recent bereavements.
As well as extensive local enquiries in Nottinghamshire, the search has extended to Scarborough, on the North Yorkshire coast, where Mr Thomas has connections.
It is believed he may be travelling in a silver Nissan Almera, registration number MK03 SCX.
Mr Thomas is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of large build and with very short, receding hair. He wears glasses, but it is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
Anyone with information as to Mr Thomas’s whereabouts is asked to telephone Nottinghamshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 682 of 27 August. Information can also be passed anonymously using the Crimestoppers number of 0800 555 111.
