Heating Oil Thefts

The Rural areas of East Bassetlaw have in recent months suffered from several offences of Heating Oil thefts. The majority of these offences have been in remote rural locations. Farms , Village Halls and Schools have been targeted together with some private dwellings. Over the weekend of 6th and 7th of October a male was detained in relation to this trend having been arrested at a rural location in the act of stealing heating oil.
Whilst this is excellent news the community are encouraged to continue with the passage of information about this type or indeed any offence they become aware of.
The male is currently on bail with conditions pending an appearance at court.
