Burglary Dwelling

A burglary has occurred today 19/01/2013 within the last hour between 1pm and 2pm in the area of Rampton when two males have entered a property of an elderly resident and stolen items , the males where purporting to say that the male had a slate loose on his roof. Unconfirmed information that these males may be using a small black vehicle possibility a Volkswagen.
Could all residents please be vigilant and keep their eyes open for any suspicious vehicles and please inform Police immediately on 999.
