
Crimes reported on the Bassetlaw East Ranskill/ Lound beat area in the last seven days.
- Between 2100 hours on 15/03/2013 and 0630 hours on 16/03/2013 a moped was stolen from outside a property on Cherry Tree Close, Ranskill.
Incident number 000367-16032013 relates.
Wherever possible, please consider garaging all vehicles overnight and, where they are not being used, during daylight hours also.
- In the early hours of 18/03/2013 a shed was broken into at a property on Station Road, Ranskill. The padlocks to the shed were stolen although no items were taken from within. It is believed that items were taken from the yard area of the property.

Please consider using shed alarms on all out buildings. They are available at a cost of ten pounds each from some local retail stores – the two most local to the crime location are the Top Shop at Ranskill and the Post Office at Mattersey.
- Between 2100 hours on 19/03/2013 and 0845 hours on 20/03/2013 a car was broken into on Arundel Drive, Ranskill. Items were stolen from the vehicle.

Please do not leave items in parked and unattended vehicles as they are an immediate attraction to opportunist criminals. Where possible, garage vehicles overnight. Where this is not possible, park vehicles on private driveways, off of the public highway.
- Between 2200 hours and 2230 hours on 20/03/2013 a property was entered on Old Blyth Road, Ranby and items were taken from within.

Please review all dwelling and out building security and, if appropriate, consider using/ installing alarm systems and CCTV.
