Adult abuse: See it? Report it

We need local people to help look out for their vulnerable friends, family and neighbours and tell us if they’re worried that they’re being abused.
There were over 2000 reports of adult abuse against over 65s in Nottinghamshire last year. Others who are targeted include people with learning or physical disabilities or mental health needs.
The majority of these reports were made by people who work in social care, residential care, the health service, police and other front line agencies. The Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board is marking World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (15 June) by urging members of the public to look out for abuse and to report any concerns to the County Council.
