Hello everyone.

  • The Wine & Cheese evening for members was a great success – the weather was pretty good after all the threatening cloud and 25 people attended – wine glasses were at a premium – but there was wine and cheese not drunk / eaten
  • Saturday 15th June is the plant sale on my front garden wall – this is how it works
  • if you have plants to give away just pop along and place them on the wall – I will be putting mine on at around 8:30am – knock on my door if you need assistance in any way
  • small pots are 50p, larger pots are £1.  If you have a particularly valuable/large plant please indicate the price – buyers will find an honesty bucket in which to put their cash
  • unsold plants will remain in place until Saturday 22nd June – if you want to retrieve any unsold plants which you donated then pop round on the 22nd – I will retrieve all unclaimed plants and keep them for a week or so
  • The next event, open to all, is on 7th July  – it is a visit to Dodington Hall LN6 4RU (22 miles) – we will meet at the Gate House at 11:30am (the gardens open 11 to 4pm and the house opens at 1 to 5 pm)
    • Gardens only – £5.00
    • House and Gardens – £9.50
    • There is no club fee

If you intend to go I would be please for you to let me know

“Doddington Hall is five miles West of Lincoln on the B1190. It is sign posted from the A46 Newark to Lincoln Road. It is also signposted from the A57 between the A1 and Lincoln. If you are using ‘sat nav’, the post- code to enter is LN6 4RU”

  • Just a reminder to one or two couples who have yet to pay their annual renewal subscription of £10 each

Cheers
David
