The 69th North Notts Ploughing Match & produce show on Sunday 8th September 2013 is to be held on land between Mattersey and Sutton cum Lound by kind permission of Messrs A.Lee, J Powell, & F Walter. See here for more details.
The second Sunday in September dawns the main match day. Over the last few years the committee has been fortunate to have gained members with enthusiasm and vibrancy. With each new member who has joined, they have brought with them their own aim and expertise. The ultimate goal being to stage a ploughing match which will not only cater for all areas of ploughing but to produce a show which will entertain the whole family.
They have our own marquee which plays host to the produce competitions, these are a mix of vegetables, grains, fodder, baking and the children’s sections.
