SUTTON GARDENING CLUB: The next meeting of the Sutton Gardening Club is on Tuesday 4th March at 7:15pm in the Village Hall when Ron Beare will give an illustrated talk on ‘Orchids and Carnivorous plants in the home and garden’. Ron is a photographer by profession and we will be treated to wonderful images of these beautiful plants which he has cultivated over many years. All welcome.

ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: On Sunday 2nd March “Morning Prayer” will take place at the local church. Please come along and join in.

The service starts at 9:30am and everyone is welcome.

POSTAL SERVICES: Will patrons please note a change of times and days for Post Office services in the village. The Post office will now operate in the Village Hall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week.

New opening times are as follows:

  • Tuesdays from 11:30am to  2:00pm
  • Wednesdays from: 9:00am to 11:30am

The local office can supply residents with: Pensions, Foreign Currency, Travel Insurance, Car insurance, investments and Savings

VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE: The committee will hold their monthly meeting in the Village Hall on Wednesday evening 26th February and a report will follow next week.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH: The committee of the local association will meet on Wednesday 26th February and a full report will follow.

CRAFT CLASSES: Craft classes continue to operate in the Village Hall on the first Wednesday of each month. The next session is scheduled for Wednesday 5th March 2014 from 7:00pm until  9:30pm. The new sessions are £10 per visit.

PARISH COUNCIL: The Parish Council normally meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Village Hall. There is a public participation period and all residents are welcome to attend.
