Given the recent consternation surrounding the test bore at Daneshill, we felt it may be useful to the residents to provide some information on fracking. It’s an emotive subject and we feel it’s important to give a balanced view of what it’s all about. To that end, here are half-a-dozen videos which give different perspectives of the fracking debate.
These range from the energy companies (the Front Ground), web commentators (the Middle Ground) and finally a view from the personal perspective (the End ground). These are pretty much US-based, but then they have more experience of fracking than we do, so we make no apology for this.
Please take time to view them all, whether you are pro- or con-, because if nothing else these do provide what we feel is a good cross-section of the technology and the issues involved. We’re here to provide information, not opinions.
