Nature walks, displays and children’s activities are on offer, as well as light refreshments and a raffle , proceeds to go towards Reserve improvements. The sailing and angling clubs who share the Reserve will be on hand to show off their skills.

The Friends group has been formed to help Notts Wildlife Trust, who have recently taken on the responsibility of managing this Notts County Council owned site, with maintenance and habitat improvements. Entrance to the Open Day is free – remember to wear stout shoes or boots and warm, waterproof clothing. The Reserve is situated on Daneshill Road, Torworth, signposted off the A638 Retford to Bawtry road.
