This year the Sutton Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Saturday 28th November at 5:30pm at the small green at the junction of Town Street and Station Road.
The Reverend Sue Caddy will bless the tree, followed by traditional carols from Harworth Brass Band and the children of Sutton cum Lound CoE Primary School Choir.
Thanks to Mark and Jane Pick, who have offered to supply mince pies and treats for the children. Thanks also to Margaret Boreham and John Jones who will popping along from the Village Hall Christmas Market with a fresh batch of their very special mulled wine.
On the same day at the Village Hall there will be a festive Coffee Morning where £2.00 will get you a cuppa and a slice of delicious home-made cake. At the same time, the Christmas Market will offer a variety of goods and gifts for Christmas and will culminate in the Xmas prize Draw with a mega £100 top cash prize. The Coffee Morning and Market will both start at 10:00am and run until 2:00pm.
