ANNUAL PARISH MEETING: This year’s Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Wednesday 4th May at 7:00pm in the Village Hall. This is not a normal full council meeting, but a Parish meeting for you the parishioners to come along and learn about what the Parish council have done this year, and for you to discuss your concerns and expectations for the year ahead.
Unlike previous years, various community groups have been asked to provide static displays of what their activities are. The Chair of the Parish Council, Angela Close will be present to take on board any issues or concerns you have regarding the Village.
Refreshments of wine and cheese nibbles will be provided

QUIZ NIGHT AT THE GATE INN: The Sunday quizzers at the Gate Inn were treated to an excellent Film and TV quiz last Sunday night which included a picture round on Disney Films. With an impressive score of 41 out of 50, Jane Sulley’s Crew picked up the £15-00 prize. Play your cards wasn’t won and rolls over to this Sunday when Pablo will be in the Quiz-masters Chair and as it is a Bank Holiday on the Monday the quiz prize will be £25-00.
