
ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: Sunday 9th April is “Palm Sunday” and Holy Communion will be held at the local church.
The service starts at 9:30am and everyone is welcome.
MEET THE NEIGHBOURS: When the Neighbours meet on Wednesday 12th April at the Gate Inn at the usual time of 1:00pm, chef Kieron will present another of his special menus for the group. An old favourite, Sausage and Mash will be on offer followed by Eton Mess for a sweet, as well as the usual tea and coffee. Any official village notices will be given out, and hopefully a simple quiz will take place, followed by the usual raffle as diners socialise for the afternoon.

SUTTON PARISH COUNCIL: The council will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday 12th April at 7:00pm in the Village Hall.
GATE INN COFFEE MORNING: Coffee Morning at the Gate Inn is on Thursdays, from 9:00am until 12:00noon. Coffee and cake £3.50. Refills available. Further details available from the Gate inn on (01777) 709 408.
SUTTON GARDENING CLUB: After the talk given by Graham Bodle from Walkers Nurseries earlier in the year, he mentioned that he could give the club a guided tour of the garden he has constructed followed by tea and cake. Many members were interested in going. Graham has been contacted and he is able to accommodate the group on Tuesday 8th August (pm.)
The cost of the tour and tea/cake will be £9.50. We will car share as it is near Finningley Airport for those who have not been before. A £5 deposit will be collected at the AGM from those interested. It is hope to get a good response before opening it up to friends and family.
