ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: A “Service with a difference” will take place at the local church on Sunday 29th October. Please come along and find out more.

CAR BOOT AND TABLE-TOP SALE: The next car boot and table-top sale will take place on Sunday 5th November at the Village Hall, from 10:00am until 1:00pm (sellers from 9:00am). Free public admission, sellers £5 per pitch. Refreshments available on the day and a tombola stall will operate.

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE: Chef and former butler Nigel Bowers was the guest speaker when the ladies of the Sutton and Barnby Moor WI met at the Village Hall on Wednesday 18th October. The group were informed of what goes on behind the scenes at some of the establishments and large country houses the speaker has worked for and served over many years, some local and some further afield. A very informative talk from Nigel who continues in the catering business and is in demand for events such as birthdays, christenings, weddings and many other functions when required.
At the next meeting of the group on Wednesday 15th November, the ladies will be involved in a “Fun night of Kurling”. An exciting night to look forward to!
KEEP FIT CLASSES: Keep fit classes continue in the Village Hall every Saturday morning between 9:00am and 9:45am. Come along and join them, you may lose a few pounds.
