CHURCH SERVICE

A packed church was the venue as villagers, families, friends and visitors gathered together to commemorate the Remembrance Service held at the local church on Sunday 11th November. Young and old alike were present as reader Joan Herrington took the service.

As the service progressed the children’s choir from the local school were involved as they sang hymns as part of the event. A very emotional service for some as they remembered loved ones lost in the conflict, other just pleased to come along to worship and remember. A very touching service.
