PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

The meeting of the Parish Council took place on Wednesday 8th January 2020 as scheduled with an almost a full complement of councillors present, one apology offered and one vacancy remaining. District Councillor Rob Boeuf and County Councillor Tracey Taylor were on hand for advice and guidance if required and the proceedings were monitored and recorded by Clerk to the council Nigel Johnson.

In the public participation section, a question from the floor arose regarding a village circular which appeared to cause some consternation in the village. This was produced and circulated due to limited time scale and a explanation would be given at the meeting scheduled for Friday evenings drop in session.

An update from Cllr Tracey Taylor covered a review of previous matters including Highways and drains. District Cllr Rob Boeuf update included flood prevention measures, planning and recent culvert checks in the village some of these matters in conjunction with Cllr Taylor.

Other matters discussed included: TPO’s which the clerk will make enquiries regarding same.

Next meeting of the council is scheduled for Wednesday 12th February at the usual starting time of 7:00pm.
