Coronavirus Update Logo

Here we go again. The government has decided that a second national lockdown will commence at one minute past midnight on Thursday 5th November 2020 (that is Wednesday night into Thursday morning), lasting until (at the earliest) Wednesday 2nd December 2020. This means new restrictions in England.

What Christmas looks like this year will depend entirely on how successful we are at reducing the spread of COVID-19. So, please make yourselves aware of what you can and cannot do and, as far as possible, stick to the guidelines and restrictions.

  • Information on the new national restrictions, including what they mean for working from home and business closures, why they are being introduced and the financial support available.

Until then, please bear in mind that Nottinghamshire remains at Local COVID alert level Very High.
