MEET THE NEIGHBOURS
The last meeting of the neighbours group was held on Thursday 16th December at the usual time of 1:00pm. This was the groups Christmas dinner.
GARDENING CLUB
When the club met on Tuesday 7th December in Barnby Moor Village Hall, members were invited to try their hand at making outdoor Christmas decorations. Many of the group had a go and made their own creations on the night, with assistance and guidance, and which turned out to be of a very high standard. Although they all had the same demo from our excellent guest speaker Sally Barker, it was surprising to see how different and lovely all of the efforts were.
Sally made a further indoor decoration for the group and this and her outdoor example were raffled off during the evening Mavis Bradley won the indoor decoration and Jenny Bailey won the outdoor decoration and to bring the session to a conclusion members were invited to enjoy tea/coffee wine and nibbles and mince pies.
