Rising to the challenge: have your say on your council’s budget
Complete our survey to help us set a budget that meets your needs.
We want to create a healthy, prosperous, and greener future for everyone who lives in Nottinghamshire. To help us achieve this, we need to know your priorities.
Each year, we have a legal duty to balance our budget and, just like the people in Nottinghamshire, we’re also feeling the pressures that are driving up the cost of living such as record inflation and energy costs. Many other factors, including a national shortage of social care staff and a need for more funding, are also adding to those pressures. The scale of the financial challenge facing the Council next year is currently estimated at £34.8 million. This estimated funding gap rises to £73.8 million when looking at this over the next 3 years.
Visit our website to find out more information, and to access and complete the short survey before it closes on Monday, 2nd January 2023.
Have your say today and help us rise to this challenge.
