Meet The Neighbours Reimagined
The Village Hall Committee are happy to announce that they are re-launching ‘Meet the Neighbours’ on the first and third Monday of the month between 1:00pm to 3:00pm in the Village Hall.
This is an opportunity to come to our welcoming space and enjoy a chat with a friend, a change of scenery and use of the Wi-Fi if working from home. Challenge yourself with our newly purchased games, enjoy a drink and piece of cake or take a breather before the school run!
The committee has worked hard in securing funds for this to be completely free of charge for all to enjoy. This will start on Monday 6th February 2023, so please come and join in.

Parish Council
Parish Council Meeting
The next meeting of the council is scheduled for Wednesday 8th February 2023, commencing at the usual time of 7:00pm. Residents are invited to join them.
Sutton Art Group
After 25 years, Joan Reiter will be stepping down as Leader of Sutton Art Group.
David Mowthorpe has also decided to step down from his role assisting with the administration. Joan and David will both remain members, no doubt churning out their amazing artworks and making sure we don’t step out of line.
On behalf of all at Sutton Art Group, I would like to thank Joan and David for all your time and dedication over the years and for creating a successful, welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all who attend. Well done both.
However, when one door closes, another one opens, and we have four ‘younger’ members who have volunteered to take over the next chapter for Sutton Art Group.
Lisa Rees is our new Group Leader being the main point of contact and will deal with the general running of the group including all bookings such as hall, artist demonstrations and future outings.
Wendy Jarman will continue doing the cash side and books.
Rachel Mansell will look after the website, social media, adverts and promotions.
Ann Nicholls will manage the group information and communications by email.
I’m sure we can carry on the good work, build on these sturdy foundations and our lovely art group can go from strength to strength.
