Meet The Neighbours
Meet the Neighbours will be taking place on Monday 5th June and then on Monday 19th June for the usual informal drop-in event from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. This event has become a regular feature in our calendar on the first and third Monday of each month and is attracting a following of villagers and friends who to come to our welcoming space and enjoy a change of scenery and each other’s company whilst chatting with friends old and new enjoying a drink and a piece of cake, using the Wi-Fi if working from home and catching up on all the news from in and around the area.

Apart from attending council meetings in the ward, your councillor has been busy surveying various situations arising in the area, reported by members of the community, and bringing them to the attention of the appropriate departments responsible.
St Bartholomew’s Church
Church Service
On Sunday 21st May (7th Sunday of Easter) a “Family Service” took place at the local church at the usual time of 9:30am. The officiant on this occasion was Lay Minister / Reader Joan Herrington, Worship Leader: Janet Webb. Gospel Reading: Acts of the Apostles 1 V 6 – 14. Intercessions: Janet Webb. Organist: Geoff Webb.
Please note there is no service next week at St. Bartholomew’s, but there are services at 10:30am at West Drayton and “Holy Communion” at Eaton and Gamston, at 9:15am and at 11:00am Matins at All Saints, Babworth.
The next service at St. Bartholomew’s is on Sunday 4th June 2023 when a “Family Service” will take place at the usual time of 9:30am
Post Office
The Post office operates in the Village Hall on Wednesdays from 10:00am to 12:30pm. Services offered include Banking, Cash Deposits, Cash Withdrawals, Bill Payments plus lots more.
