Meet The Neighbours
The September meeting of the Neighbours group took place as arranged in the Village Hall from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
The next meeting of the group is scheduled to take place on Monday, 18th September. This will continue for the rest of the year on the first and third Monday of each month! Please call in and say hello!
The latest edition of the Spotlight hit the streets of the village over the weekend, with a slightly different format. The publication now has a new editor in the name of Sophie E. Howard (firstname.lastname@example.org). Hope villagers wish her well and show support for the new editor.
A tremendous vote of thanks must go to former editor, Brian Seddons, who has held this post for the last few years and has maintained a high standard throughout despite various setbacks. Well done Brian!
The Speedwatch team had a month off in August, the gap being covered by the Police rural community speedwatch team, who covered the area and surprised many speeding motorists! The local volunteers have resumed their duties and ask drivers to assist them by reducing speed in the village!
