Sutton and Barnby Moor W.I.
When the W.I. met on Wednesday 18th of October 2023 in Sutton Village Hall, a good turn out was present to listen attentively as the guest speaker Janice Bradley informed the gathering of the Return of the Beavers. Not all present were aware of the proximity of the furry creatures which are beavering away locally. A very interesting and informative talk, which those present appreciated.
When the group next meet on Wednesday 15th November, it is the occasion of the group’s 75th Birthday Party. One not to be missed!! Congratulations to all.
Will members please note that Sutton cum Lound and Barnby Moor gardening club is moving to Sutton cum Lound Village Hall for their monthly meetings from January 2024. As a consequence, they are also changing their meeting night to the first Thursday of the month, 7:15pm to 9:15pm. The committee apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope to see you all in the New Year.
