Quiz Night
The Festive Quiz Night will take place on Sunday 8th December, doors open 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start.
The group will be taking a well-earned rest from the quiz scene in January, but will be back again, suitably refreshed and raring to go, on Sunday 9th February 2025. Come along and challenge them if you think you are good enough. All welcome.
Sutton And Barnby Moor Gardening Club
When the group last met (Thursday 5th November) Don Witton addressed those present on the subject of Euphorbia and perennials both here and abroad. The speaker often used his holidays as him and his wife travelled far and wide in search of various plants to increase their knowledge and their very own collection of varieties which attracted their attention. A very informative evening, accompanied by a slide show presentation which held the audience’s attention throughout. A selection of plants for sale were made available during the event, which came with free advice where needed. Another successful talk organised by the local gardening club on behalf of members!
Please note in the New Year 2025 the group will meet on the second Thursday of the month at Sutton Village Hall at the usual time of 7:15pm.
