Sutton cum Lound Full Review Neighbourhood Plan 2025
Consultation
Sutton cum Lound Parish Council is pleased to give notice that a formal pre-submission public consultation on the new Neighbourhood Plan is starting at 10:00am on Monday 2nd June and will run for a period of 7 weeks ending at 10:00am on Monday 21st July 2025.
We are inviting comments and responses to the plan via a survey. Any comments and responses will be considered by the Steering Group to inform the final version of the plan, before it is submitted to Bassetlaw District Council for examination by an independent examiner.
Please visit the Neighbourhood Plan website www.suttoncumlound.neighbourhoodplan.uk to review the latest plan and supporting documents, and take the survey.

There will be two open house events to further discuss any comments you may have and view large scale maps and documents. These will both take place at Sutton cum Lound Village Hall on:
- Thursday 19th June from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
- Saturday 28th June from 9:00am to 11:00am
Every home should have received the attached flyer (PDF)

Want something publicising?
Don’t forget, if you have any event or item of interest for the village, just email it to webmaster@suttoncumlound.net and our resident website monitor will do his best to accommodate you. All posts go out to our increasing list of email update subscribers as soon as they’re published.
We also have the Sutton Spotlight, which goes out to every house in the village on a quarterly (ish) basis. Space is sometimes limited, so try to get your entry in early.
We’re also lucky to have a village Journalist who collates news and updates for the Retford Times on a weekly basis. Get your copy in on Monday morning for the Thursday issue.
All our website updates are also sent down the village “X formerly Twitter” feed, @SuttonCumLound. So, follow us there for these and other items in and around our area.
The Parish Council has a Facebook presence for all things of a council nature. Contact the Clerk if you want anything on this feed.
