VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE: The committee met on Monday night (9th May) for their AGM with seven members of the public present. Various items came under discussion during the evening, the chair reporting that a successful year meant that the committee had once again managed to keep the hall running for another 12 month period.
There had been a few set backs over the year, particularly with the heating and heavy snow at the end of last year causing burst pipes, but these had been overcome.
A new kitchen had been fitted during the period and new appliances purchased to bring the venue up to present day standards.
Recent bank statements show the group to be in a sound financial position.
