Hello and welcome to the Bassetlaw Games Sports Volunteering Project.
This project aims to help people who would like to volunteer their time in sport. Whether you would like to volunteer in a sports club or a sporting event, this project can give you all the necessary training to feel confident and knowledgeable about volunteering in the sports industry.
The project offers a number of training opportunities free of charge and only asks that you can commit to all of the training dates. If you can, then they would love to hear from you.
All you need to do is fill in the application form below and send it in (details on the form).
The deadline for application forms to reach them by is Friday 17th February 2012.
The scheme includes the following:
- Sports Leaders UK Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership
- Emergency First Aid Training
- Sports Coach UK Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop
- Sports Coach UK How to coach disabled people in sport workshop
- Completion of a Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure and Self Disclosure
The opportunity to volunteer in the Bassetlaw Games events that are happening all around Bassetlaw throughout 2012 as well as getting involved in volunteering with sports clubs around this district.
