
ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: On Sunday 24th “Songs of Praise” will take place at the local church. The service commences at 9:30am and everyone is welcome.
POSTAL SERVICES: The Post Office in the Village Hall will be available as usual on two occasions each week. On Mondays: 9:30am – 1:30pm and on Thursdays 9:00am – 1:00pm. The local office can supply residents with: Pensions, Foreign Currency, Travel Insurance, Car Insurance, Investments and Savings.
PICKS GENERAL STORE: Villagers can play the National Lottery now that the local shop has a lottery terminal up and running. Customers are advised that credit and debit cards can also be used at the store, as has been the case for some time. The shop also operate a cash back service with no purchases necessary.
NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH: The local association report the following:
- Sutton became the victim of the latest wave of crimes to hit the area when in the early hours of Friday 15th June 2012 , a Catalytic Converter was stolen from a parked vehicle on Portland Place Suttom cum Lound. The victim heard a noise at approximately 01:50 hours but did not investigate. If you or anyone has seen or heard anything in relation to this incident, pleased contact PCSO 4735 Catherine Phillips on 07525 409 789 or on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident number 000325 of 15/6/2012. As most people will be aware of this increase in this type crime occurring residents are asked to be extra vigilant and report anything suspicious.
The next committee meeting of the local association will take place on Tuesday 25th June at the usual time of 2:30pm.
