Babworth Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK Rescue) are holding a fundraising event at Sutton Village Hall on Sunday 23rd September 2012.
BARK Rescue has been open for 6 years and is a Family run, privately-owned, non charity-funded rescue centre and they rely completely on donations to fund the centre.
Many of the animals come to them sick and require medical attention, and their vets bills are enormous. The animals that come into their care, are death Row Dogs, that have served their 7 days in the dog pound and are due for destruction.
They never put a healthy dog to sleep – they stay with them until a forever home comes along , No Matter How Long It Takes!
The Rescue Centre consists of 30 kennels and a Cattery. Their dogs come in all shapes and sizes from pedigree to dish mops and most of their dogs will make perfect Family pets.
If you are thinking of offering a rescue dog a new home, you will be required to pass a home check and one of their main policies is that you have a secure garden with a good fence surrounding it. An adoption fee is required. (dogs are not free).
They rely on fund raising and donations from the general public to help them carry on saving the lives of these animals.
