The Gardening Club is organising a small show to be held at the Church of St Bartholomew on Saturday 6th October 2012 to ascertain the level of interest in the Village, with a view to a Grand Show in September 2013 depending on the success this year.
All households should have received a flyer giving details together with an entry form. Spare forms are available at the Gate Inn, Pick’s Store, and the Village Hall if you need one. The deadline for receipt of entries is noon on Sunday 23rd September 2012.
If you do miss the 23rd deadline there may still be a chance of making an entry. Please call David Mowthorpe on (01777) 709 809 to check.
The show is competitive but not overly serious, and should be fun for all who take part in whatever capacity. You can be a volunteer organiser, a visitor, a judge, an entrant or even all four. Categories are available for Adults and Children.
- Entries staged from 10:00am to 11:30am
- Judging from 11:30am to 1:00pm
- Show opens at 1:00pm with £1.00 entry and a free raffle
- Winners announced at 2:30pm
