At approximately 01:15am on Friday 09/11/2012 an attempted dwelling burglary occurred on Redforde Park Avenue Retford. Crime number BE/082837/12.
At approximately 10:00am on Tuesday 06/11/2012 an attempted dwelling burglary occurred on Galway Crescent Retford. Crime number BE/082051/12.
During both of these attempts two males have attacked side/rear doors by snapping the locks. It is believed that they have been looking to steal vehicle keys for high valued vehicles such as Porsche, Volkswagen, Seat and Audi.
The suspects have not been perturbed by being confronted by the owners of the properties.
We would advise occupiers to keep all vehicle keys out of view of the windows and doors and should anything suspicious occur in the area please contact the police via 101. If a crime is in progress please contact the police via 999.
