ASB

This is a message from Neighbourhood Alert Information sent on behalf of Nottinghamshire Police

Message sent by

Antony Crofts (Police, SGT 879, East & West Bassetlaw)

Parents are requested to be aware of the whereabouts and possible behaviour of their children.

Recent issues have been reported of antisocial behaviour by teenagers and at times young adults which has, and is causing alarm to local residents.

As a parent please ask yourself the following questions.

  1. Do I know with any certainty where my teenager is on an evening?
  2. Do I know with any certainty who my teenager is associating with?
  3. Do I know what type of behaviour my teenager and their associates are engaging in?
  4. Do you know the local “haunts” that attract teenagers in and around your locality?

If the answer to any of the above is no, then it is in your own interest to find out.

Local officers from Nottinghamshire Police deal with calls for service to many locations in relation to Anti Social Behaviour. If you want to know where these locations are, contact your local beat team. Details can be found on the Nottinghamshire Police web site. www.nottinghamshire.police.uk

All parents have a responsibility to their community and also to their children to prevent ASB. Knowing what your teenager is getting up to supports both.

Please, as a parent, be aware.
