Recent reported crimes for the Bassetlaw East Ranskill/ Lound beat area.

  • Between 0500 hours and 1634 hours on 01/02/2013 an upstairs single glazed window to a property on Station Avenue, Ranskill was broken by unknown means.

    Incident number 000585-01022013 relates.

  • At around 0240 hours on 02/02/2013 two unknown offenders have gained entry to a vehicle parked off the road on Station Avenue, Ranskill. They have then attempted to start the vehicle. The offenders were disturbed by the vehicles owner and ran off.

    Incident number 000125-02022013 relates.
    Please consider garaging vehicles overnight. Where this is not possible park vehicles on privaqte driveways rather than on the public highway.

  • Between 1700 hours on 01/02/2013 and 1700 hours on 04/02/2013 a digger parked off Sutton Lane, Babworth had its guards removed for reasons unknown and the fuel cap was removed and thrown to the floor. No fuel was stolen and no damage was caused.

  • Between 2000 hours on 03/02/2013 and 1043 hours on 04/02/2013 unknown offender(s)have forced the lock to a UPVC conservatory door at a property on Mattersey Road, Ranskill. Once inside the offender has stolen items from the conservatory. Access was not gained to the rest of the property.

    Please constantly review all home and vehicle security. Where a property is alarmed please consider having other parts of the building and outbuildings added to the system.

  • Between 1700 hours on 02/02/2013 and 0700 hours on 04/02/2013 batteries, oils and diesel have been stolen from excavators parked at Daneshill Road, Lound.

    Incident number 000072-04022013 relates.
