Recent crimes reported on the Bassetlaw East Ranskill/ Lound beat area.

  • Between the evening of 31/03/2013 and the evening of 01/04/2013 there was an attempted break into the side door of a garage at a property on Arundel Drive, Ranskill.
    Incident number 000653-07042013 relates.
    Please consider purchasing shed alarms, or similar, for all sheds, garages and out buildings. They are available at a cost of ten pounds each from a number of village retail outlets including the Top Shop at Ranskill and the Post Office at Mattersey.
  • Between 22:00 hours on 07/04/2013 and 08:30 hours on 08/04/2013 a vehicle parked outside an address on Arundel Drive, Ranskill was interfered with by unknown person(s).
    Incident number 000151-08042013 relates.
    Wherever possible, garage vehicles overnight. Where this is not possible, park vehicles on private driveways, preferable to on the public highway. If vehicles have to be parked on the public highway, always park them in well lit areas.
  • Between 13:00 hours and 14:15 hours on 09/04/2013 a vehicle parked in the car park at Daneshill Lake, Daneshill Road, Lound was broken into and items were stolen from within.
    Incident number 000447-09042013 relates.
    Please ensure that when vehicles are left unattended that all personal items are removed/ hidden from view to prevent similar incidents.
