Police and Crime Commissioner Paddy Tipping is consulting the people of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to ensure that both his Police and Crime Plan and budget reflect their views and expectations.
Mr Tipping adds that “financing our policing service continues to be a challenge as we need to save £11.8m in 2014/15 and another £10.8m in 2015/16. This means that it is even more vital that we spend our taxpayers money wisely. With that in mind, we know they want us to spend any savings that are achieved by making efficiencies in some areas”.
Residents, community groups, business organisations and victims of crime can take part in the Commissioner’s on-line survey, and Mr Tipping asks that you please take a few moments to complete the survey which can be found at http://www.nottinghamshire.pcc.police.uk/Get-Involved/Consultations-and-Surveys/Tell-the-Commissioner-what-you-want.aspx
Thank you for your help and if you require any further information regarding the survey please do not hesitate to contact Colin.Handley@nottinghamshire.pnn.police.uk
