
ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: On Sunday 7th February, “Morning Prayer” will take place at the local church.
The service starts at 9:30am and everyone is welcome.
FRIENDS OF DANESHILL LAKES: Please note that the next meeting of the Friends of Daneshill Lakes Local Nature Reserve will be held on Monday 8th February at 7:00pm at the Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre, Great North Road, Retford, DN22 8SG.
Anyone who is interested in the Reserve, enjoys visiting it and would like a say in its future is welcome. Coffee / tea provided.
There will also be a Work Party at the Reserve on Wednesday 10th February 10:00am onward, meeting in the car park. Suitable clothes and footwear for outdoor working necessary, plus own refreshments. Toilet facilities available.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS: The next meeting of the Neighbours Group is on Tuesday 9th February at 1:00pm. A meal has been arranged for the group at the local hostelry, the Gate Inn, where those present can enjoy a fish chip and pea meal, at a cost of £5.00 per head.

SUTTON PARISH COUNCIL: The next meeting of the council is scheduled for Wednesday 10th February 2016 at the usual time of 7:00pm in the Village Hall.

NEW PCSO: The new PCSO for our area Claire Walker was in the village on Wednesday 27th January and attended the local Neighbourhood Watch meeting.
SUTTON GARDENING CLUB: The gardening club met on Tuesday 2nd February in the Village Hall at 7:15pm. Local gardening expert John Stirland spoke to the group about understanding seeds, fertilisers and manure.
