A representative from Bassetlaw District Council was present to outline the BDC proposed Garden Waste Scheme. The new scheme will involve a bi-weekly collection of garden waste, e.g. grass cuttings and shrubbery, but not soil, from March to November and will cost householders who join the scheme £30.00 per annum. A different coloured bin will be supplied for this purpose. The  facility at Hallcroft Waste Disposal site will continue to operate as usual.

Members of the public raised the question of tractors running through the village until 10pm in the evening. The trailers do not appear to be sheeted or netted and in windy conditions contents were blowing onto resident’s gardens as well as road and verges.
