ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: On Sunday 15th January “A Family Service” will take place. Please come along and bring the family.

DEFIBRILLATOR: The Parish Council is organising a training session to cover CPR and the use of a defibrillator. If you would like to participate then please phone the clerk on (01777) 948 320 or alternatively email clerk@suttoncumlound.net
The training is free and will be at the Village Hall. Places are limited and it would help when expressing your interest if you could indicate whether you would prefer a day or an evening session.
WALKING BROCHURE: A guide to paths and walkways around the village of Sutton should have been received by most households in the village over the last week or so. The information contained within should benefit most people in the village, whether they are walkers, joggers, dog lovers or people who just like a casual stroll.
THE GATE INN: The Gate Inn Sutton Cum Lound will be reopening on the 27th January under Mitchell & Graham Management Ltd. This team comprises of the existing chef Kieran Mitchell,the existing front of house manager Hayley Troop and Paula Graham the finance manger. We have a revised menu and an additional bar menu for you to enjoy, we hope to see you soon.
DATE FOR YOUR DIARY: A Ceilidh has been organised at Barnby Moor Village Hall on Saturday 28th January from 7:30pm with dancing to The Bracken Rigg Dance Band. Tickets are £10.00 each to include pie and peas. Bring our own alcohol and glasses. Tea and coffee available.
