From observers at the gate of Tinker lane today we understand that the rig has been operational throughout the day. It is taking some 3 hours (give or take) between adding new lengths of drill pipe, believed to be about 9 metres in length suggesting progress at around 3 metres per hour. The image was taken shortly after a new length of drill pipe was mounted (or whatever the drillers call it!) with the rig fully extended at 30 metres.
