Vacancy for a Parish Councillor
Are you interested in serving the community and care about what happens in Sutton cum Lound?
Then the rewarding role of Parish Councillor could be for you. There has never been a better time to get involved in the future of this friendly, community spirited village and help it face the many changes ahead.
To qualify for the role, you must:
- Be a British or Commonwealth EU Citizen,
- Be over 18 years of age and an elector,
- Reside within Sutton cum Lound, OR within 3 miles
OR occupy as owner or tenant any land or premises within,
OR have your principal or only place of work there.
- Not be disqualified from holding office as a councillor
- Not have a criminal record

We also have the Sutton Spotlight, which goes out to every house in the village on a quarterly (ish) basis. Space is sometimes limited, so try to get your entry in early.
