Village Hall Update: The toilet refurbishment takes us a few steps closer to completion, with the new flooring be laid earlier this week, and the reinstatement of toilets, sinks and relevant pipework continuing. Once again thank you to all our very understanding users for bearing with the works.

The Seasonal Sweep Tickets are now available to raise the much needed funds to complete the final touches to the hall refurbishment. If anyone would like to help with this aspect or donate a raffle prize then please leave a message for  Sharon Dyson on 07092 985 831 to discuss further.

The draw will take place on the afternoon of Saturday 8th December when the Village Hall Committee will be holding their Christmas Coffee and Craft Fayre, further details will follow nearer the date.

St Bartholomew’s Church: A Sung Eucharist will take place on Sunday 14th October, the service commences at 9:30 am and all are welcome.

The Harvest Supper is confirmed as being held on Saturday 13th October at 7:00pm at Sutton Village Hall. Tickets are £10.00 and available from either Joan on 01777 705 080 or Monica  01777 718 738.

Garden and Flower Show: The “New Sutton Show” held on Saturday 6th October resulted in 85 adult and 29 Childrens entries, and over 60 visitors to the open afternoon session. The weather was kind and the Church ‘set off’ the show in grand style.

Postal Services: The Post office will be held in Sutton Village Hall on Monday 09:30 to 13:30 and Thursday 09:00 to 13:00.

Sutton and Barnby Moor WI: Sutton and Barnby Moor WI will meet on Wednesday 17th October 2012 at Sutton Village Hall, the meeting begins at 7:15pm. Visitors and new members always welcome.

Kelly J Fitness: Monday evening workouts continue weekly at 7:00pm, a personal workout with a professional trainer.  Cost is just £5.00. Come along – all you need is suitable footwear and a bottle of water.

Village Ventures: The Virginia Monologues comes to Sutton Village Hall on Friday 12th October. Doors open at 7:00pm. Tickets, if still available, can be booked by contacting Fred on 01777 707 562 or buy reserving online at www.suttonvillagehall.net

Wheelie Bins: Residents are reminded that BLUE BINS should be put out for collection on Monday evening 15th October or early Tuesday morning.
