Man arrested after break-ins at salons

A 34-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with break-ins at three Worksop hair and beauty salons.

He was bailed pending further enquiries.

Burglars forced entry to Rich Hair Salon, in Bridge Street, twice between the evening of Sunday 13 January 2013 and the morning of Monday 14 January 2013.

The next night the rear of Reuben’s, in Newcastle Avenue, was targeted, as was the front window of House of Elegance, in Bridge Street.

GHD and Magic Crate hair straighteners and various bottles of Clynol shampoo, conditioner and wax were stolen.
