As the fabulous warmer weather continues, please don’t forget about keeping your home and belongings safe. Doors should always be secured even when your home is occupied.

Remember if you are spending time out in the garden, check to make sure your front door is locked and that downstairs windows are shut. Don’t leave anything desirable in view of doors and windows such as mobiles phones, iPads/laptops, handbags wallets or keys. Make sure you have secured doors and windows, particularly downstairs, when you go to bed.

Additionally, whilst the weather is hot, please don’t leave children or dogs in cars. Temperatures rise very quickly and within minutes heat soars. If you see children or animals left in vehicles and they are in distress, please do not hesitate in calling 999.
